Why we do not use overlay widgets
Accessibility overlays add a JavaScript layer over broken HTML but do not fix underlying issues. Screen readers still encounter the same problems beneath the overlay. Major disability rights organizations, including the National Federation of the Blind, have publicly opposed overlay products. We fix accessibility at the source code level for genuine, lasting compliance.
